Cruising to Mexico

After going through almost 400 pictures of my trip to Mexico without the Meredith 3, I decided it was time to share a little of the adventure on my blog. If you want to see them all go to http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AZs27hi2buXPg&emid=sharshar&linkid=link5

The trip started off a little shaky since we had just crossed into Alabama on our way to Mobile, when Sabrina's van started acting bad! We had to have it towed, so this pic is us with "Eric" the AAA tow man!

Once we got squared away and on the road again...

We made it just fine, except Rhonda had to correct our hotel clerk for overcharging us... poor girl!

We finally made it to the ship. Most of us had never been on a cruise before, so it was a little intimidating to see it for the first time.

So we all made it on and then we have to have our lifeboat drill before we left the port. Let me tell you, I don't know why, but those life vests smell HORRIBLE!!!!

We had a ball that night..... acting silly and definitely not our age.....

The second night it was time to get all duded up for formal night. It was fun to dress up like that, I felt like I was 18 again and going to prom.

We made it Cozumel .... only about 1/2 of the group was sick, luckily I wasn't one of them (must be my Cajun raising). And we all made it back to the ship after playing all day safe and sound.

We had great time in Playa Del Carmen where I zip lined for the first time.... IT WAS AWESOME!

We ate too much and played really hard, but it was definitely time to go home. I missed the Meredith 3 something awful so we packed it all in the cars (how we didn't I have no idea)

and headed back to our Kentucky home. ....Adios Mexico, until next year......
