Holiday World

Rhonda and her buddies let me tag along with them to Holiday World last week. Thanks guys! We met at Rhonda's house and Kenny chauffeured us all in the van.
In true Griswold fashion, we were there when the gates opened and went to ride the Voyage first. Patricia doesn't like roller coasters but we persuaded her to ride the Voyage. Needless to say, she could have killed us when she got off. Did I mention that Kenny has had open heart surgery??????

After we played at the water park for a while, we convinced Rhonda to ride the Voyage with us on the second run through. She wasn't too sure about riding it and as you can see here, not happy about being "forced" to ride it! I wish I would have gotten a picture of her after....can you say green! :)

Our two favorite water slides were the Zinga and the Bakuli (aka the toilet bowl). Charlene and Patricia took advantage of the wave pool and laid out all day.
After the water park, we watched the diving show. It was really good. Yes, I know how rough I look, give me a break, I've been in the water all day.

This guy was "Hot Stuff"

Can you imagine diving from this high?
Here's me and Gayle with the whole diving group. I have no idea what the diver on the right is doing. He messed up my picture! LOL!

Conner's First Day in Third Grade

My goodness, where does the time go? Conner is 9 and starting third grade. YIKES!!!! She is so excited to have Ms. Robin, because she was her daddy's favorite teacher. She is growing up so fast, I blink and I think she's grown a foot. Here she is cheesing before school. Notice the Joe Jonas bag. According to Conner he is "H - O - T."

Of course Landon had to get in the picture. Hard to believe he will be starting kindergarten next year. Look out South Edmonson the tornado is coming!

Conner and Kimberly before class.

The two partners in crime....Conner and Rachel posing!
They are sitting next to each other right now, but I doubt that will last very long!

It really does seem like yesterday Conner was in Mrs. Lesley's class crying for me not to leave, this year it was "...uh mom, you can go now..."
